12 July 2018 – In early June, Ben Olivier, CEO of Thales Alenia Space in the UK, was invited to host, together with Senior Executives from STFC RAL Space, a visit by the Minister for Defence Procurement Guto Bebb MP to the STFC RAL Space test facilities in Harwell.

Dr Chris Mutlow, Director of STFC RAL Space, hosted a tour of the current space test facilities and discussed the development of the new National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF). The NSTF will enhance the capabilities of the UK Space Sector for the design and build of more complex space instruments and technologically advanced satellites.
