OrbitRise is a newly-founded start-up company based in the UK specialising in translating robotics, control, automation and systems engineering research into innovative real-world solutions and services.

OrbitRise is at the forefront of developing disruptive technologies for space missions and technology transfer to extreme terrestrial environments, mainly the Energy sector. Its founding director and chief consultant, Prof (Hon.) Dr Mini C. Rai, brings 28 years of research, development and innovation experience in Space Engineering and Technology, specifically Orbital and Planetary robotic missions. This includes a large portfolio of projects funded by UKRI, EC, UKSA, ESA, UKAEA, NDA and other international agencies.
