The Reinventing Space conference and exhibition brings together industry, agency, government, financiers, academia and end-users. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘The Commercial Revolution, and will feature a keynote address on the first day by UKspace President, Dr Alice Bunn OBE.
The event, organised by the British Interplanetary Society, will focus on the key benefits and emerging issues presented by the rapidly growing number of space missions and activities driven by increasing commercial activity. As utilisation of Near-Earth Space accelerates, resulting from man commercial satellites being launched, the conference will focus on the likely implications of this revolution over the next two decades; not only for the satellite manufacturers and operators, but also for the legal, logistical, educational and space surveillance communities supporting them.
This year’s conference runs across three consecutive days, with the option to attend any or all three days. Details of the programme will be published here soon.
On the evening of 12 November, RISpace will be hosting the Sir Arthur Clarke Awards and gala dinner.
