As the UK’s only trade association dedicated solely to the space sector, UKspace has continued throughout 2025 to play a vital role in representing our diverse membership across the entire value chain. For more than 30 years, we have been the leading industry voice, working with our members and alongside government, parliament and international partners to drive innovation, growth and sustainability in the UK space economy.

Reflections on 2025
2025 has been a year full of change, challenge and opportunity. Against a backdrop of increasing global focus, growing international competition and evolving national political priorities, UKspace has ensured that our members’ voices are listened to, and that decision makers understand that the UK space sector can play a fundamental role in our nation’s long-term success.
Our strength lies in the breadth and depth of our membership. From innovative SMEs to established primes, from manufacturers to downstream service providers, together we represent the best of the UK’s capabilities. By working collaboratively, we have shown that our sector is not only central to economic growth, but also to national security, environmental sustainability and global partnerships.
Looking Ahead
We know there is more to do. As we look to 2026 and beyond, our focus remains on influence, growth, coordination and collaboration. With ESA CMIN 2025 providing the first indications of the government’s approach to the sector, UKspace will work with our members to identify new opportunities and ensure that industry’s voice is heard, with a view to positioning the UK at the forefront of opportunity.
We thank all our members for their engagement, leadership and trust this past year. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable and globally competitive UK space sector.
