UKspace is delighted to announce that Stephanie Ayres has been appointed as the organisation’s new Head of Policy. She will take up the role in mid-June and will support the new Executive Director, Colin Baldwin, as he takes over the helm of UKspace at the end of June.
Stephanie has a strong space background including supporting organisations such as The Aerospace Corporation, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge from both the space and defence sectors, including an abundance of parliamentary acumen which will complement the changes being made at UKspace.
Chair of UKspace, John Hanley, said: “Stephanie’s sharp intellect and familiarity with the UK space landscape will help drive policy requirements in support of our members. We were delighted to receive several very strong applications for this role. Stephanie’s appointment indicates another step in the evolution of UKspace.”
