5 July 2016 – This is a call for projects which provide solutions to specific challenges laid down by the Agency as well as an open call aspect for people to submit their own ideas into.

The UK Space Agency’s International Partnerships Programme is a £150m multi-year programme which will use people’s space knowledge, expertise and capability to provide a sustainable, economic or societal benefit to undeveloped nations and developing economies.

The UK Space Agency will award grants to successful industrial and academic partners to run projects addressing real-world problems.

Within Call 1 there is an open call for projects, a study scoping call, several tactical calls tackling specific country problems and a strategic call. See the guidance for more information.

The call:

  • addresses real world issues in countries on the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list
  • will only accept projects proposals which have a suitable international partner involved in the project
  • is limited to projects who will provide a level of match-funding
