PNTaaS

PNTaaS Ltd (NAVSYS) is a UK SME providing GNSS-independent PNT services based on satellite communication signals. PNTaaS Ltd was incorporated in 2025 and is based in Edinburgh at the Heriot-Watt University campus. It is a subsidiary of NAVSYS Corporation (USA).

It performs R&D, manufacturing in the UK and Europe and is building up service delivery capability to deliver PNT as a Service across Europe initially, eventually world-wide including the Arctic. It has established initial reference and monitoring stations in the UK, Spain, and Germany with plans to expand further. It works closely with major satellite communication providers as both technology and service deliver partners.

Active areas of R&D include high‑performance software‑defined radio technology, miniaturised Ka and Ku-band antennas, enhanced cloud based infrastructure, signal processing, and end-user equipment.
