Lodestar Space
Lodestar’s mission is to develop the first autonomous AI fighter-pilot for space, called Mithril, to power in-orbit bodyguard satellites and deliver orbital defence as a service to high-value US and allied assets.
A Mithril-equipped orbital bodyguard satellite is equipped with a variety of counter-space capabilities and on-board autonomy. Placed in close proximity to critical national security assets, providing the first line of defence against orbital aggression. Applications include on-orbit SDA, inspection & autonomous effect.
Lodestar is already backed by the UK Space Agency and the European Space Agency to advance sovereign in-orbit capabilities.
