Free talk: The amazing power of light – making stars on earth and other exciting stories”.

This awesome talk from Ric Allot of STFC will focus on the incredible power of light and in particular high power lasers. We can use these amazing machines to make and study stars on earth, measure the distance to the moon or even manufacture parts for space craft.
