The UK Department for International Trade (DIT), with support from Trade Export Group (TEG) partners the UK Space Agency and UKspace, is seeking a diverse cross-section of applications for the newly established Space Exports Advisory Forum pilot programme.
The core objective of this Forum is to increase space exports to the United States by influencing trade campaigns and trade policy. Should you wish to learn more, please review the Guidance – US Space Export Advisory Forum document. We strongly encourage you to apply if you have relevant qualifications and are actively engaged in business development with US customers.
Due to the tight timescales we ask applicants to submit completed the one-page Proforma – TEG US Space Exports Advisory Forum template and Qualification Categories – TEG US Space Exports Advisory Forum spreadsheet and return them no later than close of play Wednesday 16 December 2020. This gives us enough time to assess all submissions prior to the first Forum virtual meeting which, providing suitable companies can be confirmed, we plan to hold w/c 11 January 2021.
(A Proforma Mock-Up is also available to download)
Please note:
- Your submission will be treated in confidence and will only be shared with HMG representatives for the purposes of the Forum.
- Please “reply all” with your completed Proforma template and Qualification Categories spreadsheet. Submit in the original Word & Excel format, not pdf.
- Please note this email may have been sent to more than one person in your organisation and to other divisions within your group.
For further information, having reviewed the documents, please reach out with any questions to DIT Senior Trade and Investment Manager, Neil Evans (neil.evans@trade.gov.uk), or DIT’s US Space and Aerospace Specialist Bill Peterson (Bill.Peterson@mobile.trade.gov.uk).
