SaxaVord Spaceport

SaxaVord Spaceport is located on the island of Unst in Shetland and is the most northerly part of the UK. This allows SaxaVord to offer direct launch azimuths between 330 and 030 degrees true to low earth orbit, with three launch pads and up to 30 launches a year, both orbital and sub-orbital. The northerly position also means that Unst is the best place in the UK for satellite ground stations serving polar orbits, SaxaVord offers connectivity in L, S and X bands.
