17 August 2015 – The Satellite Finance Network (SFN) has launched the BackonBoard project which aims to introduce individuals with financial, management, strategy, legal, technical, risk management or commercial experience to start-up companies and small companies which may need additional guidance and advice, or are looking for a key individual to help them grow and succeed.

The group of specialists includes several people who have been entrepreneurs themselves or held senior corporate positions, as well as some who may be looking for non-executive roles or to be involved in growing a small company.

SFN Co-Chair, Joanna Wheeler, said: “BackonBoard is an incredibly exciting new initiative which offers access to people who have been there and done it, and want to share their business knowledge, experience and wisdom with other people. There are no costs associated with making introductions, so we hope people will engage with us and take up the opportunities available.”
