Sean Corbett, Charles Davis and Adina Gillespie6 June 2018 – British New Space Pioneer Earth-i today announced new senior appointments to help meet the increasing demand for analytics and insights drawn from its high-quality, high-resolution Earth Observation (EO) images and video data.

In January, Earth-i cemented its position at the forefront of the commercialisation of space with the launch of the VividX2 satellite, the service demonstrator for its Vivid-i Constellation. Vivid-i will be the first commercial constellation in the world able to provide full-colour, full-motion video from space showing life on Earth.

The first compilation of videos recorded by VividX2 can be seen on YouTube and demonstrate Earth-i’s ability to deliver an unprecedented level of detail in full motion colour video, whilst also extracting still imagery, to meet an ever-wider range of needs.

In addition to video and still images from its VividX2 satellite, Earth-i is a distributor of still images from the DMC3, KOMPSAT and SuperView Constellations, providing products and services from these data sources and others.

The appointments bring many years of experience and expertise to Earth-i in areas including Earth Observation, technology and geointelligence:

At Earth-i Sean will be working with the UK’s Ministry of Defence and other global military and security organisations.
