Roke’s space technology heritage includes the miniature radar altimeter deployed in the Beagle-2 Mars Lander; GPS/GNSS Navwar/anti-jam technology; and X-Band Satcom Modems. Roke has also been the principal supplier of nano-satellite-based research and development to Dstl for the past three years, and in the commercial domain has been undertaking nano-satellite research for ESA. Downstream activity includes autonomous pattern of life analysis of satellite-derived AIS data, for both Dstl and ESA.
