30 October 2014 – The UK Space Agency, the Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation, and Space Technology are pleased to announce a rolling call for proposals for Grants for Exploratory Ideas (GEI) under the National Space Technology Programme.

Grants for Exploratory Ideas are mini studies which can receive a grant of up to £10K with a maximum duration of 6 months, aimed at innovative space technology activities. Proposals can be in any area of space technology, including those covered in the National Space Technology Strategy and the associated roadmaps (see https://connect.innovateuk.org/web/space).  The UK Space Agency would particularly like to encourage organisations (industry, academia and SMEs) new to space technology to participate in this Call.

The next round closes on 2nd December 2014, then at 3 month intervals.
