Building our Industrial Strategy green paper, as well as recent initiatives such as the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, delegates will consider the way forward for industrial policy following the General Election. Sessions will look at the future role of industrial strategy in supporting key areas of the national and regional economy – such as skills, innovation, infrastructure and productivity – as well as options around its approach to specific markets and sector deals. Delegates will also consider the impact of Brexit on trade, workforce and economic growth as negotiations begin with the European Union.
