SwRI – speed dating session

been approached by the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), a large R&D facility based in San Antonio, Texas who will be visiting the UK the week commencing 8th December. SwRI currently have a small presence in the UK but are looking to expand upon this.  SwRI is interested in meeting with companies in the UK Space Industry who they could potentially partner with for mutual benefit. They are also interested in meeting SMEs who might be interested in utilising SwRI’s R&D facilities. They are suggesting to us that while their remit is broad, their focus may well be on the Comms and smallsat avionics aspects of their contract RTD activity. UKTI, supported by UKSA, will be hosting a session with them during a visit to Harwell and the Guildford 5G Centre and while SwRI appreciate this is short notice, they would nevertheless welcome a meet-and greet. We propose to organise this at Harwell on 11 December from 14:00.
