Are you interested in digital continuity? Is it a buzz phrase you’ve heard and want to find out more about?
This free RHEA Talk webinar will feature several industry experts who will provide an overview of what digital continuity is, what the benefits are, and what role concurrent design and the broader model-based system engineering capabilities are playing as we work towards full digital continuity.
Engineering projects in the space sector, along with many other critical infrastructures, are renowned for their complexity and long lead times. System engineering helps to facilitate the definition, design, build and verification of a system for its entire lifecycle, across all disciplines and throughout the supply chain. Further benefits are now being achieved by replacing a document-centric approach with model-based system engineering (MBSE). But how far away are we from true digital continuity and what are the processes needed to get there?
Hear Hans Peter de Koning, who has been working in this field for over 30 years, will provide his thoughts on end-to-end digital continuity, while Marcel Verhoef, a concurrent design expert at ESA’s Concurrent Design Facility, will provide an insight into ESA’s commitment to this approach. You will also hear from Gianmaria Bullegas from Perpetual Labs, an innovative start-up that is providing a secure concurrent design environment for people to share models on the web. There will also be a Q&A session allowing attendees to pose questions to the panellists.
