Remote Sensing Satellite Systems for Global Sustainability

The IET is organising an evening lecture that will consider the global issues such as climate change, agriculture, disaster monitoring, earth observation and many other challenges will need ubiquitous, global solutions if they are to be managed. Space systems will be needed for monitoring the health of our planet and its resources. The event will bring together a leading advisor to governments and inter-governmental organisations including the World Bank and an expert in future remote sensing satellite systems to compare the commercial and societal imperatives with the resulting challenges for satisfying application requirements.
