25 February 2016 – More than 70 delegates attended yesterday’s ‘Making Europe Work for You’ workshop at Harwell organised in conjunction with the Satellite Applications Catapult to provide greater awareness about the financial mechanisms currently untapped by the space sector in the UK.

Representatives from the European Space Agency, European Commission, UKpermrep, Innovate UK, European Investment Banks, and the UK Space Agency covered new EC initiatives including the European Fund for Strategic Investments (“Junker Fund”), the InnovFin fund, and EU structural funds. It also identified vital information channels such as the European Investment Advisory Hub.
